Without any idea that he wanted to be a fashion designer, Paul Smith stumbled upon his fate after a cycling accident. With the help of his wife Pauline Denyer, he opened up a tiny shop in 1970. By 1976 Paul exhibited his first menswear collection under the Paul Smith label.

His collection has now been extended into 12 components: Paul Smith Women, Paul Smith, Paul Smith Jeans, PS by Paul Smith, Paul Smith London, Paul Smith Accessories, R. Newbold, Paul Smith Shoes, Paul Smith Fragrance, Paul Smith Watches, Paul Smith Pens and Paul Smith Furniture and ‘Things’.

Paul Smith’s designs reflect his preference for traditional and classic English styles.
