Francesco Smalto, an Italian tailor and designer, is best known for the shoulder of his suit, which has a distinctive curve visible from the front and the side. Most men who wear Smalto get their start wearing ready-to-wear designed by Smalto's artistic director, Franck Boclet.

Every cut of a Smalto garment, even ready-to-wear, feels tailor made with extra detailing and pleating. Their leather is made from the finest skins, and the knits are sewn extra-fine for intensified luxury. Smalto also has a line of handbags, eye wear, scarves and ties, belts, hats and shoes.

His fragrance division debuted with his signature cologne. In addition, he has Molto Smalto and 2005's FullChoke. He also released a perfume for women called Smalto Donna in 1993.
